​Your Tower is a peaceful retreat above the landscape; a place to pause, breathe, and see the world from a different perspective. Rising quietly above the island, the Tower brings you closer to the elements. Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto sweeping views of the sea, sky, and mountains, creating an ever-changing backdrop of light, weather, and wild nature. Inside, warm wood, soft duvets, and carefully considered details create a sense of comfort and calm. There’s no television, no interruptions, just space to slow down, look out, and reconnect with what surrounds you.​​​
The two towers are located on the edge of the old stone pier with an unbroken view to the sea and the mountains.

​We have chosen to call them Amundsen and Nansen after our two great explorers. They are built in solid wood, are clad with burnt larch, and the back is covered with solar panels.

A BED WITH A VIEW
In the Towers, the view follows you through the experience. From the moment you wake up, nature is there, framed by generous windows and changing with the weather, the season, and the light. Watch the sea move below. Follow the clouds across the sky. Wake to the soft northern light or fall asleep beneath the darkness of the Arctic night.
The real luxury is not what you see on a screen, but what happens outside your window. At the second floor you find a double bed, full glass roof and in the front, a small pull-out desk with chair facing the morning sun. Both units are equipped with climate control.
LIVING IN THE LANDSCAPE
The Towers were designed to make the most of their unique setting. Their vertical form creates a sense of being immersed in the landscape while offering a completely different perspective from the ground. Every space has been carefully considered to feel calm, functional, and connected. Nothing is excessive. Materials, furniture, and details are chosen for their quality, warmth, and purpose. It’s a place where you can do less and experience more.
YOUR SANCTUARY
At their heart, the Towers are a place to retreat, your own sanctuary, far removed from the everyday. Step outside to your private patio, with chairs and a table waiting for slow mornings or quiet evenings. Inside, there’s no screen to distract you, only wide, open windows that frame the world beyond. Settle into a soft chair, feel the embrace of a warm bed, and let the sound of wind and waves carry you elsewhere. This is the experience we want to share with you—simple, still, and deeply yours.
THE BATHROOM
Wellness is essential to your stay here, especially above the Arctic Circle. At Manshausen, you can play in nature in any weather—we’re built for it. But you should also unwind afterward: with a long, hot shower, a dip in the outdoor hot tub, or time in the sauna. Every cabin has a spacious, custom-designed bathroom at its center—inviting you to both refresh and recharge.
FIRST FLOOR
Each tower has two floors. The first floor have a comfortable seating area with a glass front facing the sea, a fully equipped bathroom, coffee machine, bookshelf, storage space and a separate guest bed under the stairs
