INN
There are 16 buildings
on Manshausen island.
Seven of these are Sea Cabins, while the other two are Towers, all featuring a unique design that has earned more than 50 architectural awards and nominations.
Each cabin has its own pristine view that enhances your scenic experience. In addition there is the Main House (Hovedhuset), with our Restaurant and Library. Our New Boathouse (Nynaustet) contains our conference facilities.
Other facilities on the island include a hot tub, a sauna and a service building. A good description is “Compact Living”, meaning the focus is on comfort, calm minimalism, and an unobstructed view that virtually brings the magnificent scenery right inside.
SEA CABINS
Your Seacabin is a peaceful retreat, a place to pause, breathe, and simply be. Floor-to-ceiling windows immerse you in the natural beauty outside, where the sea and sky meet in quiet conversation.
Inside, soft duvets, cozy chairs, and the soothing
rhythm of wind and waves offer comfort and calm. There’s no television, no interruptions, just space for you to unwind completely.
TOWERS
Your Tower is a secluded retreat suspended above the landscape, a place to slow down, reconnect, and simply take in the view. With sweeping windows framing the sea, sky, and rugged coastline, every moment feels wonderfully removed from the outside world.
Inside, warm wood, soft linens, and carefully considered details create a feeling of comfort and simplicity. There’s no television, no distractions, just the changing light, the sound of nature, and the peaceful rhythm of life at Manshausen. A space to wake slowly, breathe deeply, and let the beauty outside become part of your stay.
